As the engine behind Team Member Engagement, Mireya sparks and strengthens relationships between Whole Foods Market Team Members about the Foundation’s projects – Whole Cities, Whole Kids, and Whole Planet.

Mireya’s journey with Whole Foods Market began in 2016 as a cashier. Within a couple of years, she became a Training Specialist then a Supervisor for the store’s Customer Service team before accepting a role on the Customer Care team at the Store Support Offices in 2022. This deep experience included Team Member education and store activations for the Foundation’s projects, which proved to be a fitting stepping stone for her current role supporting the Foundation’s Team Member Engagement program.

Team Members are known for being energized by community engagement on the local and global level. As Senior Program Manager, Mireya taps into that excitement to raise awareness about Whole Foods Market Foundation and foster engagement opportunities between Team Members and the Foundation’s projects.

Mireya graduated from Austin Community College with a Visual Communications degree specializing in graphic design.
